We now know through neuroscience that our thoughts, emotional reactions, and behaviours can be observed, retrained, and optimised.

Firstly, through interoceptive strengthening in bodily state awareness in your, survival fight flight freeze feelings and emotions,

Secondly connecting these feelings to the thought process.  So thinking about thinking also known as metacognition, and with this awareness, dissecting and challenging this deeply rooted thought process

When we become aware of our internal responses, Why did I freeze? Why am I shutting down? What am I avoiding? we begin to dissect:

✔ Whether we’re operating more from logic and caution,
✔ Whether creativity and intuition are being suppressed,
✔ Whether we’re responding with fear or authentic motivation.

By understanding which areas of our brain are dominating (e.g., logic with low risk tolerance vs. creative intuition), we can intentionally train balance between systems, shift perspective, and strengthen collaboration.

The goal isn't to become the most optimistic or confident voice in the room.
It’s to train your brain to access full spectrum thinking strategic logic and creative insight, emotional regulation and confident expression.

This is real team performance: not built on ego or rivalry, but on regulated nervous systems, metacognitive awareness, and deep mutual respect.

Let’s stop forcing collaboration and start training for it.

What would your team dynamic look like if every member was trained to access their highest cognitive state not just react from fear or survival?

Message me, Vanessa to find out more on training teams and individuals to access their best performance.
