Feel like an undiscovered gem? Here's the change you need.

Feel like an undiscovered gem? Here's the…

Do you ever feel like an undiscovered gem waiting for the right client to scoop you up?

Sorry to burst your bubble; nobody's coming until you take action.

Does this describe you:

  • You're passionate about the service you can offer.
  • When somebody speaks to you, you understand what they need and are confident you can deliver the perfect solution.
  • You see other providers offering a service and know you could do it better.
  • Maybe you’ve seen people try and do it themselves, and you could have saved them money and delivered at a higher standard.

The problem is: You're not being discovered.

The sad part about that is:

  • No matter how brilliant your solution is, it won't see the light of day if you don't put it in front of the right audience. It’s like a gem buried in the soil, full of potential but unseen.
  • The world is full of undiscovered gems, just like you, waiting to be found. But here's the reality – the right client isn't equipped with a map to your location. They aren’t going to stumble upon you by chance. They might, but waiting for your chance isn’t a strategy.

 Here’s what’s preventing you

  1. Most people are not 100% aware that they need you, even if they desperately need you.
  2. You're so focused on wanting to be helpful that you haven't figured out how to say what you do in a way that resonates with your ideal customer.
  3. You lack the confidence to boldly declare that you're the best fit.
  4. You're slightly desperate for business, so you might take on clients that aren't a good fit for you (so you're not building a reputation in your desired direction)
  5. Your marketing fails to resonate with your ideal client.
  6. You lack a clear marketing strategy that will lead people to you.
  7. And there’s probably some personal stuff holding you back that will clear up if you get the other stuff right.

Even if we never meet, here's one thing you need to change:

Learn how to state what you do in just 1 sentence.
  1. That sentence is not a list of things you do, it's about the result the client gets once you're done with them.
  2. Know that when you introduce yourself using that sentence, people will believe you (they do, they have no reason not to)

Template:
I'm a [ 2-3 words ] - I help [ your ideal client ] get [the result you give and when]

Most people can't do this, and so they can never articulate their value. And they'll never be discovered.
(In other words, even as high value gems, they'll be mistaken for ordinary rocks in the sand)

Examples:
- I'm a wedding co-ordinator, I help newlyweds host the wedding of their dreams.
- I'm a business strategist, I help businesses map out the ideal strategy for their next phase of growth.
 - I'm a personal trainer, I help mothers reclaim their energy, confidence and lifestyle.
- I'm a personal coach, I help people remove the obstacles that stand between them and the life the want
- I'm a tiler, I help homeowners transform their dreary kitchens and bathrooms in just 5 days.

Aah... but it's not so simple in my case, I hear you say.
I know. I do. It never is.  Let's make the change today.
